Hyatt Capital Gate
Palatial hideaway with sublime views
An improbable hotel at the centre of town, its 189 rooms, each with spectacular panoramas, occupy 15 storeys of the heavily leaning Capital Gate building, part of the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre. Floor-to-ceiling windows throughout the property do much to highlight the utterly unique placement of the hotel. In-house dining options include the spectacular 18°, an eastern Mediterranean restaurant with a trio of show kitchens and a breathtaking outdoor terrace on the building’s 18th floor; the Rayana spa, meanwhile, entices with a novel “desert wellness” concept using locally sourced materials for its treatments.
