A New Golden Age
The hotly anticipated debut journeys of the Orient Express Corinthian trace some of the Mediterranean’s most beguiling sites, pairing storied coastlines with the brand’s signature glamour
When she takes to the water this June, the 220m Orient Express Corinthian will make history as the world’s largest sailing yacht. The three 69m masts and impressive sails integrate advanced systems to reduce fuel consumption and minimize environmental impact, while underwater stabilisers ensure smooth sailing. It’s a slow-travel experience that harkens back to the golden age of ocean liners, enhanced by incredible technological innovations.
Inside the seven-deck vessel, fine French craftsmanship designed by architect Maxime d’Angeac, Artistic Director of Orient Express, defines 54 exquisitely appointed suites, ranging from 45 to 230 square metres, where private terraces and generous windows frame unforgettable seascapes. Entertainment options cater to every taste and mood with a game room, 24-seat cinema, music venue, theatre and more, while Michelin-minted Executive Chef Yannick Alléno oversees five on-board restaurants. The experience is complete with the Guerlain Spa: a timeless escape where silence, touch and scent invite genuine reconnection.

Orient Express Corinthian’s debut tours celebrate the varied delights of summer in the Mediterranean, tracing its coastlines and islands while following the most favourable winds to minimise environmental impact. The Amalfi Coast and Sicily journey showcases Naples’ vibrant culture, the scenic sophistication of Capri and the Amalfi Coast, and the historic Sicilian gems of Giardini Naxos and Syracuse, before ending in the radiant Maltese capital of Valletta.
The seven-night Adriatic Coast itinerary departs from Venice for the picture-perfect Rovinj, where you’ll wander the narrow cobbled streets and dine atop its ancient ramparts. Next come the secluded coves of Montenegro’s Bay of Kotor, with a stop at the charming town of Tivat. Before disembarking in Malta, a final stop in Italy takes in the whitewashed homes and turquoise of Otranto in Puglia.
The From Rome to the French Riviera route, meanwhile, is a sun-soaked dive into some of the most glamorous locales in the Mediterranean. From Civitavecchia, Orient Express Corinthian sails to Portofino, where you’ll discover what has made this jewel of timeless beauty such an enduring jet-set favourite. Your next stop is Cannes, where you’ll stroll the iconic Croisette and attend a glitzy soirée at the Palais Bulles. The voyage concludes in the sparkling principality of Monaco.

In 2027, Orient Express Corinthian will welcome her sister vessel, Orient Express Olympian, and the pair will unveil a broader collection of itineraries. Their northern jaunts will navigate the River Thames, Copenhagen’s graceful waterways and Bergen’s breathtaking fjords, while Eastern Mediterranean routes will explore the Grecian isles and the Turkish Riviera.
Uniting heritage-inspired elegance with cutting-edge engineering, this remarkable boat introduces a new benchmark for refined seaborne travel. Its inaugural routes promise an immersive journey through some of Europe’s most captivating coastal landscapes, with further horizons set to follow.
