The Nautilus Beach & Ocean Houses Maldives
A Bohemian escape in the Baa Atoll
This Maldivian resort opened in February, offering 26 beach and ocean houses encircling the central hub of the island. The retreat is themed after its eponymous pelagic marine mollusc, an animal out of time, with its circular shell reminiscent of a fossil.
The cosy dwellings are styled in a white and wood palette punctuated by bright, colourful textiles, and are equipped with separate living rooms, outdoor private pools and full butler service.

Guests, much like the mollusc, are not shackled by time or structure here, they are free to do as they please. Relax and unwind at the yoga pavilion, or sip on a cocktail and admire the sunset in this alluring idyll.
