Yam’Tcha
Try the delectable food-tea pairings
If ever there was a restaurant that’s difficult to define by its menus, it’s this French-Asian mainstay on the Parisian scene. Much-heralded chef Adeline Grattard plates small but filling creations based on the day’s available produce, so, across the lunch and tasting options, you’ll likely be surprised.
But at least Yam’Tcha’s website lists the Pyrenean lamb, cheddar, onion, pepper sauce and morcilla (blood sausage) as an example, giving you a crumb of insight. All the delicious fare is concocted to pair perfectly with the eatery’s enviable range of teas, meticulously chosen by Grattard’s husband Chi Wah Chan.
