Soho House Istanbul
London know-how meets Turkish style
Based in the Palazzo Corpi – all frescoes, stucco and wood panelling – the latest outpost of Soho House is anything but stuffy. The opulent bar, rooftop pool and late-night speakeasy are a mishmash of Neoclassical and midcentury flourishes, and dinner on the plant-filled terrace of The Allis or Cecconi’s is hard to beat. Accommodation across the 87 rooms varies in size, if not in quality, though the 83sq m Playroom in the annexe building, with double-sized ceilings and open bathroom, stands out.
