For finer dining, check out this svelte eatery from Honolulu-born chef Wade Ueoka and pastry chef Michelle Karr-Ueoka, who both trained under the renowned local chef Alan Wong (Thomas Keller, too). Regionally inspired fare on offer here includes the likes of grilled kalbi short ribs, garlic-steamed snapper and Ahi poke, best topped off with a dessert of buttermilk chocolate cake or tropical fruit creamsicle brulee. Alongside fine wines and beer, signature cocktails like the Cucumber Yuzu Fizz or the chilli-infused Speyside Spice are especially recommendable.
