Hawksmoor Knightsbridge
Fine steakhouse with glamorous art deco interior

London’s steakhouse par excellence offers a mouth-watering selection of cuts, all from traditional British Longhorn Cattle reared on the island. Comfort food side dishes, market-sourced fish and native lobster round out the menu, but the focus never wavers from beef. Located between Harrods and Harvey Nichols, the restaurant’s design, too, is a cut above: featuring art deco interiors, it’s a sleek, sophisticated dining spot. Cocktails are spot on, too, and the wine selection extends to Pétrus and Mouton Rothschild 1982, though a wide variety of more reasonable bottles are also on offer.
