Ekebergrestauranten
Dining incredible views over the Oslofjord

Sublime views over the Oslofjord – especially on long summer days and nights, when the outdoor terrace maximizes sunshine that lingers late – are the main draw at the functionalist-looking Ekebergrestauranten. Housed in a circa 1930s modernist building on a hillside overlooking Bjørvika, the restaurant’s fine-dining focus is predictably seasonal and Nordic, with things like scallops, reindeer, lamb and cod on the menu. On days when it’s clear enough to spot the Oslo Opera House below, you’ll be tempted to order a bottle of champagne in celebration.
