Ivan Raslton Bielawski’s "farm to table" concept is attracting foodies to the slightly staid Madalena neighbourhood where, alongside the greenhouse situated on the front lawn, is a buzzy, informal dining area that doesn’t wear its eco-credentials too sombrely. The modernist style wooden tables and chairs alongside the open kitchen exude a sleek retro vibe but the food is oh so very modern. Expect some cheeky twists on well-known dishes such as beans with foie gras, paella with local crayfish. and duck cannelloni with the wild manioc root known as "tucupi".
