The Barber at Fortnum & Mason
A classic shave on London’s Piccadilly


Following a gap of more than 50 years, stalwart London department store Fortnum & Mason has reinstalled a permanent in-house Barber at the pinnacle of its men’s grooming offerings. A ceremonial wood-panelled space offering the gamut of male trims from beard design and wet shaves to the classic cut and finish, all paired to a complimentary drink (Martini, anyone?) from the well-stocked cabinet, The Barber also offers the yearly rental of ornate wooden lockers – the “Keeps” – a place to hold one’s grooming accessories and unctions.
