Hipster flower shop with a welcoming cafe

Designed as a 7,897sq m pedestrian block, Salt at Our Kaka‘ako serves as a cult nucleus for local Honolulu culture, and as such is lined with stores run by local artisans of all types. Among them is this modish “botanical boutique” selling flowers from a DIY flower bar, as well as locally made beauty products. Green-fingered guests can join in with workshops on terrarium-making and other crafts while the artsy set gather at the shop’s Arvo cafe, an Aussie-themed lounge that serves loaded avocado toasts and chai lattes – perfect for a prolonged brunch among bloom and brush.
