Asiatique The Riverfront
Shopping and dining under Bangkok’s stars

The constellation of lights next to the Chao Phraya River belongs to Asiatique, a potpourri of shops, bars and other attractions such as the tallest Ferris wheel in the Thai capital. Get lost among the bustling lattice-patterned zone of stalls and warehouses, with a classic vibe added to by the fact they once housed the East Asiatic freight company. The complex is split into four sections, based loosely on Bangkok’s trade districts; one contains a traditional Thai puppet theatre and another the Juliet Love Garden, just to start with. With a distinctly Asian brew of alluring eateries too, a visit to this open-air diamond is a must.
