Viceroy Snowmass
Aspen’s low key sibling has a resort that doesn’t skimp on style
With its ultra- groomed slopes (91 one of them in total), the Viceroy, located in the resort of Snowmass in the Roaring Fork Valley may not be in central Aspen. But just because you’re away from the traditional piste hub of Colorado, it doesn’t mean you’re losing out in the chic stakes. Rooms here are pitch perfect for après-ski indulgence with faux fur blankets draped on top of the beds and gorgeous Neil George products in the bathrooms. The feel of being in the secret mountain lair of an almost unfeasibly stylish Bond villain is only enhanced on extra chilly evenings when an outdoor bar, carved entirely out of ice, serves up over 200 different types of vodka.
