Madrid's Grande Dame, Re-Opening
After an ambitious and extensive renovation, the Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid is ushering in a revamped rendition of the Belle Époque

Mere metres from Madrid's major landmarks and the most exciting fashion, culture and business destinations, Mandarin Oriental Ritz, Madrid has charmed with noble heritage since 1910, and now unveiling an extensive renovation – the most ambitious in its 110-year history – a new era is in store for this Spanish icon.
Architect Rafael de La-Hoz has teamed up with Parisian designers Gilles & Boissier to recreate the Belle Époque spirit in 153 rooms and suites. Adding to the sumptuousness will be five restaurants and bars, the splendidly restored Palm Court with its signature glass dome as well as an array of artworks created by some of Madrid’s finest.
