Hôtel Métropole Monte-Carlo
Neo-Baroque palace with two Michelin-starred restaurants
This stylish urban oasis (independent from the Grimaldi-owned SBM properties) was designed by Jacques Garcia and also boasts a Karl Lagerfeld-designed poolside lounge area, and two of the finest restaurants in the Principality, Yoshi and Joel Robuchon. The opulent bar and lounge in the lobby is where the well-heeled locals flock for tea and cocktails, making up for some of the rooms that barely differ in decor and have underwhelming views.
