Sikelia Pantelleria
Volcanic Mediterranean idyll

Dramatically set to the volcanic backdrop of the island of Pantelleria, this new boutique outpost lies on a cultural confluence between Europe and Africa – a rich tapestry of thematic material which Sikelia polishes with a sophisticated sense of contemporary luxe. The hotel’s suites – within ancient dammusi structures are airy spaces enriched by the work of Milanese artist Gennaro Avallone. Pantelleria’s renowned vines keep Sikelia’s cellar stocked, while restaurant Themà offer the island’s homegrown Mediterranean fare with both Arabic flavours and a distinctly Sicilian flair. Hot natural springs courtesy of the isle’s volcanic nature mark the spot out as thermal wonderland, to be complemented by the planned addition of a Sikelia Spa.
