Grand Hotel et de Milan
Rich in history, atmosphere and prestige
Opened in 1863, the Grand Hotel et de Milan preserves all the charm of an ancient Milanese mansion. Among the most prestigious guests to have slept in its rooms throughout the centuries is composer Giuseppe Verdi, who spent a long time here working on Othello and later Falstaff. For Verdi, the decision to stay here was strategic, its location being just few steps from La Scala opera house. A place rich in atmosphere, with the retro allure of the aristocratic “old Milan”.
