A majestic mainstay with provenance



With its first European outpost, the Peninsula group has revived a Belle Époque icon. Its previous incarnation as Hotel Majestic was only a brief intermezzo in a long, changeable history, but now that the building has been restored to its former glory, it seems like it is returning to its true purpose. Inside, superlatives beckon: the spa is the largest in Paris and one of the six dining venues features the largest outdoor hotel dining terrace in town.
