The Ritz-Carlton, Hong Kong
Unfettered views at the world’s highest hotel
Occupying the top 17 floors of the International Commerce Centre, this Ritz-Carlton features something other properties in the city can’t quite match – stupendous views of the city and Kowloon Bay area, something put to great use from the swimming pool on the 118th floor. Likewise, a similarly precipitous view is afforded from the hotel’s spa and Michelin-starred eateries, which incidentally up the opulence quotient – the Romanesque Tosca restaurant evoking the drama of the opera, and traditional Cantonese dim sum served up in the sophisticated Tin Lung Heen. The hip and happening move on the Ritz-Carlton’s Ozone sky bar, where a geometric design bleeds into the atmosphere around it up on the 118th floor.
