An artisanal aggregate in Healdsburg






On a 2 hectare slice of Northern California, the rural idyll is very much alive at SingleThread Farms. Comprising an inn, restaurant and working farm all masterminded by husband and wife team Kyle and Katina Connaughton, the former – who has worked under three-Michelin-starred chefs Yoshihiro Murata and Heston Blumenthal – plating a bespoke (to the tune of pescatarian, vegetarian and omnivorous variations) 11-course kaiseki tasting menu, supplied by the produce Katina and her team grow on the farm. Furnished with artisanal wares and capped with 5 guest rooms, the result is a distinctly Californian ryokan.
