Chez Taka
Experienced team with a top location
Tucked away in the much sought-after neighbourhood of Azabu, Takayoshi Kawai’s modern French cuisine is presented with unexpected twist in an urban sanctuary. Masafumi Yamakita, a former sous chef at the award-winning Collage, leads the kitchen creating menus named after various herbs. Their intricate combinations of fresh ingredients are magically transformed into a series of healthy dishes, served with an impressive wine list selected by an acclaimed sommelier, Hiroshi Ishida. Some of the window seats on the second floor overlook a charming courtyard.
