This elegant outpost of the now world-famous restaurant is right at home in the iconic Bund 18 building, a Neoclassical-style edifice set in the city’s eponymous waterfront neighbourhood. Elevated Chinese-inspired rations – like cod with champagne and honey, or crispy duck salad and smoked Waygu tenderloin – are created using locavore ingredients under the masterful direction of Michelin-starred chef Tong Chee Hwee. While its sexy, übermodern interiors are ideally suited for romantic nights on the town, there’s a strong case to be made for enjoying some steamed dim sum and a lychee martini at brunch, served between 11am and 3pm on weekends.
