The Curb
Artisanal coffee for everyman
For a quick pick-me-up or an in-depth examination of Hawaiian coffee, check out this buzzy locale which offers locally made blends as well as workshops, and will soon start roasting its own beans. In the mean time, there’s seasonal coffees from the lower 48 (including LA’s Intelligentsia, and the Washington-based Olympia) as well as local varieties like Rusty’s, based in the Big Island, to keep you caffeinated. Make sure to check out their house-made syrups, made with anything from lavender to macadamia nut.
