Golden Days at Annabel's in London
The legendary members club reopens with an immersive installation celebrating the Golden Phase of Gustav Klimt
Scenes of hope, joy, love and tenderness, all depicted in shimmering vibrant gold – these are the constructs illustrated in artist Gustav Klimt’s passionate projects during his famous Golden Phase, and they’re now being brought to life with the reopening of Annabel’s in Mayfair. To welcome in London’s long-awaited return to nightlife, the legendary members’ club has created an immersive installation inspired by Klimt and the works from his Golden Phase, particularly Danaë, The Kiss and Medicine. Upon entering over the next few weeks, guests will walk under a “Tree of Life” archway and enter the esteemed venue, which will be alive with dramatic reinterpretations and vivacious characters from Klimt’s most beloved works – along with an exclusive cocktail menu with a gold-themed track list, such as the “Judith”, a potion consisting of Hennessy cognac, Galliano L’Autentico, lemon foam and smoked paprika.
