Serving as a wine bar and a shop, one of Copenhagen’s most loved drinking dens could illustrate the definition of the word hygge in the dictionary. Head down to its namesake street at the waterside and enter into a homely spot where the atmosphere is generated by old tea-store cabinets, George Nelson lampshades and, of course, bottles of natural wine dotted around the place. On Wednesdays, there’s no need to choose: the bar’s celebrated wine tastings give ample opportunity to enjoy a selection.
