The Langham, London
A Regent Street landmark since 1865
The contemporary Langham is still very much the grand dame, a Regent Street landmark with turrets and elaborate Victorian design details, worthy of the hotel’s elegant history. After the hotel’s £7.5 million refurbishment that was completed in 2015, new luxury suites, and a lighter take on classic French dishes at restaurant Roux are breathing new life into a legend. The hotel’s Victorian charm is again brought back at the ornate Palm Court, the place where afternoon tea was born, which remains a tradition today with its tea sommelier and superb British bites.
