The Franklin
Homely suites at this refreshed Knightsbridge address

Boasting a fresh elegant style penned by acclaimed designer Anouska Hempel, this 35-key boutique lodging at the heart of London’s Knightsbridge district claims a low-key exterior amid the greenery of Egerton Gardens thanks to its composition of three Victorian townhouses. Inside Venetian stone floors, limestone and Carrara marble complement slate grey walls, ironwork accents and oodles of Italian furnishings that all contribute to a sophisticated and cosy space. Butler service, hammam and chef Alfred Russo helmed restaurant give a sense of the services, and nearby highlights include the Victoria and Albert museum (some 100 metres away), Royal Albert Hall and Hyde Park.
