Designer suites reminiscent of Berlin’s golden age




Karl Lagerfeld, one of fashion’s most recognisable names, is responsible for the distinguished look of the Grunewald Suite and several other interior elements at Schlosshotel im Grunewald. Built in 1912 as a residential palace in the leafy Grunewald suburb, the hotel's style remains firmly rooted in Berlin's golden age. High ceilings are matched with elegant neutrals in opulent fabrics; large windows give way to views of perfectly manicured gardens. The hotel's 53 rooms could be from a different era – if it wasn't for the decidedly modern technology.
