Occupying a corner spot on Avinguda del Para-lel and Career de Tamarit, the facade of bright-lights and Tickets Bar-ified show posters proclaiming La Vida Tapa fittingly indicate the mood within. A medley of tables and bars beneath myriad bright lights and colourful counters exude vitality and energy, something that also carries in the Michelin-starred dishes – innovative Albert Adrià concoctions such as Cinnamon bone with sriracha and lime air, and its consomé – ritualistic in its presentation and as lively a tapas as one will possibly find.
