Moarwirt Restaurant
Local tradition meets culinary innovation in the Alpine foothills

In the tiny hamlet of Hechenberg, by Dietramszell, you’ll find elevated Bavarian cuisine at Moarwirt. Served up in a cosy interior space as well as its beer garden – one of Bavaria’s most beautiful – which is dramatically framed by a vast panorama of the spectacular Tölz landscape. A menu of recognisable Bavarian classics – plus one or two others, such as the restaurant’s own take on Berlin’s classic, the Currywurst – all boast a high-quality produce driven focus, often with a haute twist.
