The Broad Museum
Los Angeles’ new hub of contemporary and postwar art
Opened September 2015 on Grand Avenue, the Broad Museum is Los Angeles’ youngest addition to contemporary art holdings. Featuring in-depth representations of contemporary artists such as Barbara Kruger, Cy Twombly and Joseph Beuys, the museum presents 2,000 pieces of art from the 1950s to the present. The collection of postwar and contemporary art that spans The Broad’s two floors is one of the most prominent worldwide, while The Broad Art Foundation onsite is a pioneering lending library to art museums and galleries worldwide.
