Oslo Opera House
Cultural focal point on the Bjørvika harbour front
Home to the Norwegian National Opera, the exterior of the Oslo Opera House portrays as delightful a performance as is to be found within – a Snøhetta designed complex of angular architecture, it screams harbour front cool. But of course people come here for the culture, not purely to ogle the exterior. Opera Director Per Boye Hansen’s season is billed through to June already, taking in ballet and opera plus a sprinkling of concerts.
