Bienal de São Paulo

The world’s second oldest Biennial embraces uncertainty in 2016

Jochen Volz of London’s Serpentine Gallery will be creating the 2016 São Paulo Art Biennial. Running since 1951, the concept for next year’s event is ‘measures of uncertainty’ with myriad events, shows, installations and concerts attempting to straddle the realms of mathematics, astronomy, linguistics, biology, sociology, anthropology and history. Check the website as more is revealed closer to the start date in September 2016.
