Craft beer drinkers' paradise on the waterfront


A gastropub on the banks of the Miami River, American Social, which boasts pour-yourself beer taps on a quartet of its tables and a half-dozen macaroni-and-cheese varietals, proves Brickell isn’t losing its laid-back vibe. The scattering of stars and stripes trappings around the brick and wood bar and plant-lined patio boosts its patriotic demeanour. The beer selection is extensive with more than a dozen pale ales and IPAs alone on tap, while a host of widescreen TVs show the latest sporting action.
