Caffè al Bicerin

Traditional treat

With origins dating back to 1763, this cosy wood-panelled cafe still serves the traditional chocolate-coffee-cream speciality bicerin, prepared to a recipe passed down throughout the centuries. Sit-down plates of homemade cakes and pastries accompanied by the cafe's namesake drink, or frothy zabaione (eggs yolks, sugar and dessert wine) draw the crowd, and the takeaway confectionary means plenty of delectable treats to go.
