Dining Riviera Style

Among its many charms The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya’s dining options are a mouth-watering temptation

Sponsored by

The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya is anchored in the magnificence of the Mayan environment but inspired by the stars. It is a resort that embodies both the qualities of the global brand and the local, unique attributes that such a remarkable destination offers. Within the circular design, which is inspired by the constellation Pleiades, are an abundance of amenities, including an array of restaurants that truly capture the spirit of the Mayan Riviera in consummate style.

Chief among these is Toro, the brainchild of renowned Mexican chef Richard Sandoval. A former tennis professional, Sandoval is well travelled and he brings this global experience to bear in this signature eatery, where modern culinary techniques are combined with the finest local ingredients to create a menu of dishes inspired by the spirit of Latin America in an eclectic environment.

Another standout is the Middle Eastern-styled Chaya, which provides a taste of the Mediterranean, though with all ingredients sourced in the bountiful Quintana Roo province in which the resort is situated. All are served in a subtly designed environment that ensures the sumptuous fare is very much the centrepiece attraction.

There is plenty beyond these two landmark establishments to tempt the tastebuds at The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya. The beachfront Riviera brings together the best of Mexico and Mediterranean fare, with seafood specialties to the fore. The Pik Nik deli provides food on the go for those out to explore the remarkable surrounds. Jack’s Bar offers US sports and intriguing finger food, while the Library is a venue for afternoon tea and mouthwatering Mexican chocolate and The St. Regis Bar is a refined bar and lounge situated on the top floor of the hotel where cocktails and culinary delicacies can be enjoyed under the stars.

Visiting The St. Regis Kanai Resort, Riviera Maya is an experience in itself, the culinary delights raise it to another level.
