With a recent massive overhaul under its belt, the Langham has grand hotel written all over it. Its unashamedly colonial style is, of course, a reverent curtsy to its London namesake. The rooms ooze old-world charm, but in a modern palette, and now also feature (previously obstructed) harbour views. The luxurious spa and indoor pool are perfect for relaxing, while afternoon tea in the palm court is the best way to socialise in this paricularly genteel establishment.
