Hotel Hospes Puerta Alcalá
Boutique property with a royal history
Combining warm golden hues, soothing whites and elegant wood elements, the 19th-century building that houses Hotel Hospes is located in front of Alcalá Gate, one of Madrid’s most iconic monuments, leading to El Retiro Park. The redbrick building preserves many of its original historic elements, having transformed rooms once occupied by royalty into 42 guest rooms, four grand suites and four junior suites that feature Baroque-style furniture and original floors. The hotel’s Bodyna spa has seen a change in appearance since housing old stables, offering natural treatments inspired by ancient traditions.
