Sofitel So Bangkok
French fashion meets Thai design
With elements created by Christian Lacroix, Sofitel So is a uniquely style-conscious proposition. Themed around the five Chinese elements, the 237 rooms and suites were designed by Thai artists, many with views of Lumpini Park. Two restaurants, three bars and a tempting pastry shop offer drinking and dining, while a small spa provides a range of treatments. It is, however, the outdoor pool that’s the real showstopper. Surrounded by cabanas with an adjacent bar, it’s the place to hang out during the day.
