Evoking the don't-lift-a-finger luxury of Old World travel, a Silversea voyage begins before you ever even board the ship. It starts when the private car pulls up at your home for your executive airport transfer, as part of Silversea's uniquely genuine all-inclusive concept. On board the cruise ship, all really is included – not just gourmet meals and top-shelf drinks, daily shore excursions and nightly entertainment, but also round-the-clock butler attendance and 24-hour room service in every suite. And every guest room, it must be said, is a suite.
Silversea's meticulous service is matched only by its comprehensive selection of sailings around the world. Take, for instance, the cruise line's offerings in Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and the Far East, exploring the indispensable highlights of each destination as well as some of its most closely held secrets. Circumnavigate Japan, uncover the ancient mysteries of the Kimberley, or sail from Singapore to Auckland stopping at fascinating ports of call along the way.
Whether you seek true wilderness or urban jungles, seascapes or skyscrapers, Silversea's expertly curated repertoire of more than 120 sailings across Asia-Pacific offers something for everyone – from long-distance voyages that take in a rich tapestry of places and cultures, to in-depth expedition cruises that take travellers into the beating heart of one exquisite region. The itineraries and destination ports have even been selected and scheduled so as to make combining them a cinch, for an immersive choose-your-own-adventure cruising experience.
Stunning New Ships
Depending on the itinerary you choose, you may be setting sail aboard one of Silversea's newest and most sumptuous ships. In May 2024, the fleet's first hybrid ship, Silver Cloud, will be navigating the magnificent Kimberley region. Silver Cloud features four restaurants, 20 Zodiacs and 10 kayaks, as well as an observation lounge, a beauty salon, a fitness centre, a spa and generously sized suites – most of which open to a personal veranda. She also boasts one of the highest crew-to-guest and space-to-guest ratios in expedition cruising.
Likewise, November 2024 will see the buzzed-about Silver Nova spend her first full season in the Antipodes. Silverseas's most sustainable vessel and one of the most spacious cruise ships ever to set sail, Silver Nova raises the bar both technically and in terms of guest experience, from the aft suites with a 270˚ view from sea to sky, to her eight restaurants, exceptional Otium spa and brand new S.A.L.T. dining programme. Extending beyond restaurant meals to include cooking classes and shore excursions, S.A.L.T. – standing for Sea and Land Taste – allows guests to savour the culinary culture of their destinations like never before.
