Hot spot for small dishes and wine

Neither a wine bar nor just a restaurant, Monopole could be described as a bar for wining and dining. While the food is fantastic, it's worth coming for the amazing (500-plus strong) wine lists alone. Hardly surprising when one of the co-owners is award-winning sommelier Nick Hildebrandt. Many of the wines are served by the glass or carafe and some are available here exclusively.
