Masa
Legendary sushi in Midtown Manhattan
In this revered Midtown sushi paradise the emphasis is as much on a show as the food. In the sparse surrounds nothing detracts from the sight of master chef Masayoshi Takayama at work and a seat at the sushi bar watching him in action is a truly remarkable experience – every act of slicing, shaving and sprinkling a testament to an art form painstakingly learnt over many years. That the end result is some of the most delicious sushi in the US is a real bonus.
