Brett Whiteley Studio
An artist's studio turned vibrant museum

Formerly the home and studio of one of Australia's most famous artists, the converted Surry Hills warehouse was opened to the public three years after Brett Whiteley's death. The studio museum, managed by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, gives an intriguing glimpse of the creative process behind a work of art. It shows Whiteley's work and memorabilia in situ, much of it exactly as the artist himself left it.
