So many museums, only one pair of eyes... Most visitors have to resign themselves to the fact that they can't possibly take in all of Amsterdam's amazing art in one visit. Luckily, most of the city's major museums are on one square, so you can squeeze more than one into an afternoon. The national museum, recently returned to its former glory after a revamp, is a great place to start. It houses, amongst other famous Golden Age paintings, Rembrandt's Nightwatch.
