With more than 100 varieties of rum on offer, many of them rare, the second part is hard to contest. The sophisticated, mid-century modern, no-standing-room interior, meanwhile, does indeed lend itself to the description “den”. Thanks to the quality of the cocktails, we can happily conclude that Mabel does exactly what it says on the tin.
