Celebrated Indonesian architect Andra Matin is behind the building’s beautiful flowing design, which incorporates hundreds of 18th-century teak shutters sourced from around the archipelago into its indoor/outdoor atmosphere. Sunset cocktails (don’t miss the arak daiquiris) are a Bali rite of passage and there’s an on-site restaurant worth lingering late for, too.
