An Unexpected Pairing: Bentley Motors x The Macallan
Bentley reveals the Flying Spur Hybrid and a bespoke new whisky with The Macallan thanks to a new partnership between the British stalwarts
Life is getting greener and greener at The Macallan Estate in Speyside. Famed single malt The Macallan has joined forces with Bentley Motors to present a new collaboration, which sees both the whisky distiller and luxury car producer embark on an adventure to jointly develop products in coordination for a more sustainable future. To commemorate the launch, Bentley has just released its new hybrid, the Flying Spur Hybrid. The electric vehicle, handcrafted at the factory in Crewe, embodies everything you’d expect from a Bentley hybrid – quiet operation, wood panelled interior, max speed of 177mph and a torque of 750nm.
Coinciding with the inauguration of the new Bentley vehicle, The Macallan is introducing a bespoke new single malt to celebrate the partnership. Together the two heritage brands look to achieve a green new future, with The Macallan aiming for carbon neutrality at their estate by 2030, and Bentley Motors which aims to evolve Bentley Motors into the global leader in eco-luxury transport, as part of their “Beyond100” strategy.
