The New Kid At The Dock

AeroCruiser 38 II unveiled in Skagen, Denmark

The 'Shooting Star' AeroCruiser 38 II by Danish Yachts

Danish Yachts, located at the northern tip of Denmark, where the Skagerak and the Kattegat seas meet, have launched a new Shooting Star. The powerful 38 metre superyacht AeroCruiser 38 II was presented in Skagen, a town famous not only for its location, but also for the spectacular Northern Lights that can be glimpsed there.

On board the AeroCruiser 38 II

From the drawing board of the Norwegian designer Espen Oino, the Skagen-based carbon fibre specialists have come up with a high-tech, twin-engine modern luxury yacht, inspired by the world of private aviation. Powered by a pair of 4,613 HP MTU engines and equipped with two water jets, she is a quiet vessel that can stop from full speed in just three boat lengths, if necessary. Compliments to the engineering team, as such maneuverability is truly exceptional.

The tailor-made vessel has been built in an environmentally friendly manner, with an advanced ultra-light and all carbon fibre construction with a significantly lighter hull than competitors. It therefore requires less horsepower to reach higher speeds, securing significant fuel savings.

With three large production facilities covering an area of 5,500 square metres, including metal workshops and a joinery, the team at Danish Yachts is able to fulfill almost every wish that may arise.

The 'Shooting Star' on the water

With some spectacular builds such as the J Class replica Ranger, a sailing yacht built in 2003, they have quite a stunner in their building portfolio, and compromising in terms of comfort has never been an issue. A distinctive Scandinavian look is featured on board throughout, reflecting the inspirational and striking light which draws people from all over the world into the small fishing village of Skagen, where Shooting Star was built.
