Côte d'Azur hotel Château Saint-Martin offers new eatery & kids club

New eatery & kids club at Château Saint-Martin on Côte d'Azur

Reappearing with the summer sun for the 2012 season, Château Saint-Martin & Spa on the French Riviera invites travellers to be the first to partake of several offerings new for this year, designed to delight both full-grown guests and their little entourage.

The hotel, a 'masterpiece' property from the luxury Oetker Collection, has introduced La Rosticerria restaurant, joining Grill L'Oliveraie and Chef Yannick Franque's Michelin two-star Le Saint-Martin among the hotel's dining repertoire. The new eatery plates up Italian-style dishes that capture the spirit of the Mediterranean – a sea diners can gaze upon from the open-air terrace or beside full-height windows in the dining room with show kitchen.

As they might not be so keen to sit still and take in the views, smaller guests can instead focus on the new Saint Martins Club, open for kids in July and August this year. Their fully equipped playground and arsenal of fun supervised activities – from painting to water games and drama – should keep kids entertained and give mom and dad plenty of time for two. When family togetherness is on the schedule later on, parents and children can visit the spa, where a new menu of treatments just for kids lets the little ones fee like grown ups. Special massages and skin cleansing rituals are available for teens and tweens as well.

If you have a real family retreat in mind, one of Château Saint-Martin's six private villas might be an option. The well-spaced, two-storey villas offer hillside views of the Mediterranean along with the right amount of privacy and seclusion, while car service between villa and hotel ensure that you and your clan don't miss a thing.
